Kendra doesn't spend much time awake, so we have tried to capture a few pictures of her when she is. Last night (in the middle of the night) after feeding her she was so content that she smiled at us. It warmed our hearts so much. It's moments like these that are so precious, especially after those nights when she's a little less content.
The room was almost completely dark and we didn't want to use the flash, so the pictures came out just a little fuzzy, but this is our beautiful little girl being happy and content.

Ashley - This is your cousin Kim. Congrats on your darling little girl. She's gorgeous! I'm so happy for you and your new family!
wow, perfect little smile.
Oh, so darling! Man, I wish I could smell her! I love the smell of newborns. That smell goes away after 6 months or so. I'm amazed you got such great smiling pictures within her first week of birth!! Lucky!!!!
So sweet!!
LOVe it! We tried so hard to capture those little smiles. Mostly we ended up with a lot of funky expressions. We did get a few cute ones though :)
I have been keeping up on your blog and pictures on facebook since Kendra was born, but I've forgotten to say anything. Sooo, congratulations!! She is absolutely gorgeous:) Morgan (my 3 year old) gave us a genuine smile on her 1st day of life, so I also don't believe what people say about newborns not being able to smile.
I also love the little puckered up lips on the post about her 1st smile. Morgan did that also when she was a baby and it's one of my favorite faces!
You guys are doing a great job!!
