It was already more than two months ago, but Elliot did have a birthday. And there was cake. Ohhhhh, was there ever cake!
"Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines..."
"That's better, now I can really dig into this thing."

I'm not sure if he enjoyed his cake more than we enjoyed watching him enjoy it...it was incredibly satisfying to see a small child really get into the cake after Kendra's first and second birthdays were not the most cake-tastic and she was so sick on her third that we didn't even try.
What a good job he did!!! This reminds me of the difference between Heber and Rebecca. Heber did roughly like Elliot, although it took him a lot longer, Rebecca did the one finger and then lick it act. Heber put his mouth right into it. So good to see someone enjoying his cake so much although I think it was his tactile sense rather than his tongue that enjoyed it.
