Daddy's Girl

I asked Grant to take over with Kendra this afternoon while I busied myself around the apartment picking up before some visitors from church dropped by. I thought this was too funny not to share.

Now that's what I call multi-tasking! Since I had the camera out anyway, we got a few more great shots. Grant gave me a tutorial in using the external flash and all the gizmos he's been constructing to go with it.

She didn't mind her little perch too much...

We're still having a hard time aligning the camera and where she's looking...but it still makes for beautiful baby pictures. Mostly because we happen to have a really beautiful baby. Not that I'm biased or anything...

I'll bet looking at that makes you want to have a baby right now, doesn't it? Yeah, me too. I think it's ironic how quickly we forget the super hard stuff about pregnancy, labor and delivery and having a newborn around when we see a cute baby (even our own). However, without this weird amnesia, the human race wouldn't have survived.

I always save what I think is the best for last, and this one is a real kicker.

Isn't that great?! She really does love her Daddy, and she's totally got him wrapped around her little finger.

But I don't think he'd have it any other way.

Daddy's first comment was that you can surely see a lot of Ashley in that baby. My thought is what a darling girl and dad duo. She is such a looker, and so much personality.

TOO DARN CUTE!!! I love that last picture!!! She looks so much older than just 2 months. And the whole "wrapped around her finger" ... um ... that doesn't go away as they get older. ;o) Just in case you were wondering. (hee, hee)

Look at those smiles, she is such a doll!!! They really do just melt your heart and make you forget pregnancy and labor (although for me I don't think I can ever forget the labor even though the body does produce a slight case of amnesia during birth, I've made it a case to remember so I know what to expect next time... that sounds so negative but I just like to know to expect). Anyway she is such a precious little girl, and truth be told it does make me want another little baby.
