Simple pleasures

EVERY single time Kendra sees one of these carts, she's overwhelmed with a surging desire to crawl in it and just go nuts...so today I finally broke down and let her have a few minutes in one when she spotted one outside the grocery store across the street where we drop off our mail.

You see that tongue sticking out?

That's how you know we're taking this seriously.

Very, very seriously.

(So seriously she might have thrown such a fit when I told her it was time to leave that I had to carry her all the way back to our apartment, literally kicking and screaming the whole way.  I didn't think that "across the street" was that far until I had to walk it six months pregnant and holding a squirming 2-year-old.)

Poor girl. Tell Grant to take her out there and let her sit in it for a LONG time. She is obviously and so cutely enjoying it. Love that tongue.

hehehe
you'll figure it out, you'll see it won't hlast for very long.
Now it might be faster if you buy her one of those cars :-)

LOL! But I'm only laughing because I've been that pregnant lady carrying the kicking, screaming 2 year old, and I'm just glad it's not me now. :)

Two year olds are awesome... most of the time. :)

Oh my! Yes, the 2 year-old is the nemesis of the lady in the last trimester. Remind me to tell you about the time Joey made me sprint full out at 38 weeks. He was running to the road--intent on becoming a speed bump. The other ladies at the park got quite a show that day, lemme tell ya.

HA!!!!! That is so awesome. They payback we get for trying to be nice and let our kids have some fun. Don't want to add a downer, but just wait until you have a 3 year old throwing the same fit AND a 1 year old and you're carting them both out of the store in your arms. LOVE BEIN' A MOM!!! Seriously though, I do :)
