Sweet moments

A couple of weeks ago, I turned around to see this:

And my heart just totally melted.

Even though she sloughed him off her lap at the end.

(I'm hoping this video will remind her how much she really does love him in about 10 years when he's annoying the daylights out of her...)

Elliot's new trick

For a few weeks, Elliot's been able to sit up on his own.

It was still a bit tipsy for a while, but he's got a pretty solid handle on it now.

Overall, he seems pretty pleased with his new development and way to experience the world.

And we even took a video.

We got it out to show that he was sitting but the next few minutes were pretty cute, so I didn't cut them out.

(Or not, I totally understand if you don't want to spend an extra 4 minutes watching our kids.)

Mommy's helper

As a mother, I'll take all the help I can get.

So when my incredibly generous mother-in-law bought us an ExerSaucer, I was pretty stoked.

When Elliot turned four months old, we let him give it a whirl.

He wasn't so sure about it at first...

But he quickly came to love it, and now he does this:

Name that tune

We've demonstrated here and here that Kendra has had a long-standing love of music.

(Which we think is totally awesome, by the way.)

So I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when I walked into the living room and found this:

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We have such great helpers!

She really loved putting the ornaments on our tiny tree.

She also helped Daddy put up our big tree.

Even Elliot got in on the fun.

So much fun!
